We love hotels that offer over-the-top perks. Over the years, we’ve seen everything from bath butlers to tequila sommeliers ready to help you shoot in style, but it seems like the list of cool concierge jobs is always expanding. Today, we highlight five hotels with super fun extras for guests. If you’re looking for somewhere to escape this holiday season, we’d certainly suggest one of these luxe hotels and resorts!

The Vines Resort & Spa

One extreme case of hotel staff with unparalleled local knowledge is the “Gauchos” (Spanish for cowboys) at The Vines Resort & Spa. From the moment guests arrive at the Mendoza airport, they’re paired with their very own Gaucho. The gauchos are locals who guide guests to experiences they’d never discover on their own….wine and food connoisseurs, wildlife experts and even story tellers for wild nights in the Argentinian countryside. We realize this sounds like something out of a romance novel, but it sounds seriously awesome.

The Carneros Inn

Just imagine returning home from a day in the vineyards to a roaring fire, a steaming soaking tub and chocolate, marshmallows and graham crackers neatly assembled by its side. That’s the job of this hotel’s aptly-named “Fireside Butler.”

Teatro Bike

Hotel Teatro

The Craft Beer Concierge at Hotel Teatro offers guests curated maps of Denver’s more than 150 craft breweries, hand selecting each route to fit customer’s desires (and fitness/inebriation level). The staff also provides vintage bikes to use for the tour and a “hair-of-the-dog” room service breakfast the next morning.

Viceroy Snowmass

Viceroy Snowmass’ Ski Concierge offers fresh and ready breakfast burritos available on demand right on the slopes. This power packed breakfast is the perfect meal to take on the gondola, saving valuable time for skiing and providing fuel to keep guests going. Guests can grab the burritos and throw them in a jacket pocket as the ski concierge puts guests’ skis in the snow for them.

Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler

This ski concierge takes things to a level not seen at other slope side properties – they’ll actually meet guests on the hill (so they don’t have to come down during an incredible powder day) and deliver lunch (Four Seasons-style, of course).
