beckhamboys1With his retirement from football/soccer, David Beckham appears to be diving headfirst into other projects. His latest foray is into childrenswear for retailer H&M. The retired sports star has created a line of pieces for boys, including vests, Henley tops, long-johns and shirts.

The collection will launch on February 2 during the Super Bowl with a short film staring Beckham. The project was directed by Nicolas Winding Refn, who also directed the film Drive.

Beckham’s new collection is easy-going and relaxed, with vintage sportswear a key inspiration. The collection takes many cues from Beckham’s adult Bodywear line – also for H&M.

The British heart throb has been busy since his retirement. He fronted the most recent campaign for Belstaff, signed on as the face for Breitling for Bentley, and helped raise money for the Red Cross for Philippines Aid with his wife Victoria.

The Beckhams are no stranger to fashion. In addition David’s recent deals, Victoria has modeled for many brands over the years, and the couple’s children have gotten into the game as well, with son Romeo starring in a campaign for Burberry last year.
