Many people dream of owning their own Tuscan estate but the logistics alone are often enough to scare away all but the most zealous of buyers.

The Farms at Castello di Casole is an opportunity to purchase a working farm within the acclaimed 4,200-acre Tuscan estate.

Each individual farm has 100 to 160 acres of cultivable land with crops consisting of vineyards, olive groves, fruit orchards and wheat fields.

The area was once home to the Italian filmmaker Luchino Visconti and Austrian actor Helmut Berger, of “Godfather III,” and a purchase at Castello di Casole brings you into the wine business, providing exclusive access to purchase a limited allocation of Castello di Casole’s two estate-grown wines, C and Dodici, guided vineyard tours and viticulture experiences, sommelier recommendations, and cellar management.

The 88 acres of vineyards produced by renowned winemaker, Paolo Caciorgna,  help owners learn and participate in the complete cultivation and winemaking process, from pruning in the winter to harvesting in the fall.

The limited offerings include the opportunity to purchase a farm with an existing ruin to be restored or the opportunity to build a new farmhouse. The farmhouses will range from 5,500 to 12,000 square feet.

The  architecture, interior design and construction teams work with buyers to design and build the home and the agricultural team will manages the farm, letting you enjoy the benefits of your crops. Services also include maintenance and upkeep of the property. Owners have access to the amenities and activities at Hotel Castello di Casole and can also receive annual personalized selection of estate-grown, hand-crafted olive oil and wine emblazoned with their family crest.
