Daily Dream Home: Residence 950

Wellness as an amenity is something that is popping up more and more around the country but especially in New York, San Francisco and L.A. We’ve seen it mostly in condo buildings but Troon Pacific’s most recently completed wellness-focused masterpiece, Residence 950 is turning heads in San Francisco.

The home in San Francisco’s Russian Hill is full of features designed to improve the lives of its well-heeled inhabitants. A detached 835-square-foot wellness cottage includes a sauna, massage rooms and outdoor shower.

The home includes a hospital-grade air filtration system that changes all the air in the home every 2-3 hours to help remove allergens and pollutants.

A Japanese Tensui water filtration system helps improve hair and skin. Shielded cables in bedrooms to help mitigate the risk of Electro Magnetic Fields which can disrupt sleep.

Of course, the traditional comforts of city views, and beautifully designed interiors are also in place in this 8,500-square-foot home. DuChateau wood floors have no added formaldehyde and a nontoxic hard-wax oil finish. Benjamin Moore Aura and EcoSpec zero VOC paints were used throughout.

The home was designed and built incorporating sustainability concerns and is certified LEED Platinum.

A cantilevered pool is made of Norwegian stone.

This property is listed at $45 million.
