Daily Dream Home: La Casa della Meridiana

Milans’s Casa della Meridiana is an extraordinary residence designed in 1924.

The building is set among other taller and more massive apartments that do not compromise the valuable urban features of the area. The house is “signed” by Giuseppe De Finetti, a pupil of the Viennese architect Adolf Loos. It is  located in the historic center of the city, a stone’s throw from the circle of the canals and the church of San Calimero, and is easily reachable by public transport.

The property features stunning inlaid floors and was designed on a grand scale with large archways and alcoves.

Marble fireplaces and wood floors speak to the romance of an earlier era.

A wooden staircase connects the floors.

There are six bedrooms, three are particularly spacious, embellished with fireplaces.

The villa is surrounded by greenery as in a villa.

This striking villa is listed with Giorgio Vigano Real Estate, an affiliate of Luxury Portfolio International®.
