Daily Dream Home: EHA Family Trust Residence

Influenced by the stunning landscape in which this property is found, Ward+Blake Architects designed a fully integrated architectural masterpiece drawing inspiration from its surroundings:

“This residence is sited in a natural clearing in a huge grove of aspen trees on a low lying lot situated between the Teton Range and the Snake River in northwestern Wyoming. As the site is dominated by jurisdictional wetlands; natural water courses and man-made water features figure prominently in the site design.”

The EHA Family Trust Residence in Wilson, Wyoming, is the perfect example of a marshland dream home. Rustic elegance was reinterpreted to shape a home resting on custom columns dominating the glazed facade. With a north-south/east-west orientation, the home is flooded by natural light. Weathered cor-ten corrugated roofing covers the floor plan, while traditional reclaimed exterior siding beautified the exteriors. Inside, laminated bamboo, polished concrete and Russian Birch millwork compose a dreamy material palette suited for a rustic dream home.
