The classic library of Honduran mahogany was custom fabricated to the owner’s specifications. There are 13 fluted ionic pilasters supporting a 36-inch entablature (cornice, frieze, and architrave) with unique and now extinct 18-foot continuous sections (or long runs). Honduras no longer allows mahogany exports over 6-feet in length. The room is warmed by a gas log fireplace hearth surrounded with Italian Giallo Siena marble. Hidden cabinets in library open to extra rollout drawer storage and TV installation.
