Can’t get your fill of Lady Mary and the Countess of Grantham? Neither can we. While you’re in withdrawal waiting for Season 5 to start, take in the world of Downton Abbey without even having to cross the pond. Running now through January 4, 2015, the “Costumes of Downton Abbey” exhibit at Delaware’s Winterthur offers up 40 costumes from the show, plus photographs and vignettes inspired by the program and life at Winterthur.

But this isn’t just any ordinary exhibit. The 60-acre Winterthur, today a museum of the American decorative arts, was once the estate of Henry Francis du Pont, famed horticulturist, collector and art enthusiast. So really, it’s the best of both worlds — American royalty meets (fictitious) British nobility.

In addition to the costumes, the museum will host a wide range of lectures, workshops, and exciting events for adults and families focusing on entertaining and country house life in Britain and the United States.
