Charlize Theron offloads her penthouse apartment at the Broadway Hollywood Lofts building in the heart of Hollywood for $1.75 million. 
However, the 40 year old American actress faces a loss of about $1 million on the sale as she had bought the loft-style condo in 2007 for more than $2.75 million. 
The two-floor house spans 2,350 square feet and comes with just one bedroom and two bathrooms.
Located in the Renaissance-style edifice, it is also home to a stainless steel kitchen and interconnected living spaces with ebony hardwoods and extra-high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling steel-framed windows, terraces with a head-on view of the iconic Capitol Records building as well as a floating steel staircase.
The top floor of the small living unit opens up to a master bedroom and a bathroom along with a third terrace with outdoor fireplace rendering glittery city view.
