Bill Gates Tops America’s Richest People List Of 2015 By Forbes

The rich are getting richer and The Forbes 400 list of the Richest Americans is out to validate it. The big list of people with big-money is out and and the eligibility to enter it comes for a price of $1.7 billion. And because the bar is so high, 145 U.S. billionaires failed to make it to the list. Though down by $5 billion, Microsoft’s Bill Gates still walks away as the richest American for the 22nd year in a row, with a net worth of $76 billion.

Billionaire Warren Buffett on AppleWarren Buffett, chief executive of Berkshire Hathaway, holds on to the second spot on The 400 since 2001 with a net worth of $62 billion. However the most successful investor of the 20th century has also lost about $5 billion overall.Larry Ellisons Latest Luxury Dream HomesThe third slot is being held by Larry Ellison, chairman of business software firm Oracle, with a net worth of $47.5 billion.

markzuckerberg7. Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg makes a debut on the list of the richest Americans. He is holding on the seventh position with a net worth of $40.3 billion which is up by $6.3 billion.

NYCs Mayor Michael Bloomberg donating 350 million to Johns Hopkins8.  Michael Bloomberg’s net worth is $38.6 billion. Jim-Walton9. Walmart’s Jim Walton boasts of a net worth of $33.7 billion.10. Larry Page of Google is worth $33.3 billion.

2015’s The Forbes 400 includes 25 newcomers, including Evan Spiegel, the youngest person in the ranks, and the youngest billionaire in the world. Altogether the 400 wealthiest Americans are worth $2.34 trillion, up $50 billion from a year ago.
