More benefits of aspirin.

According to a recent study, taking aspirin after the completion of breast cancer treatment lowers the patient’s risk of dying or having cancerous tumors migrate to other parts of the body. In fact, this study, which gathered information from 4,164 nurses, showed that those who took aspirin reduced their risk by over 50 percent. This study was published online in the Journal of Clinical Oncology. According to the author of the study, Michelle Holmes, aspirin is effective at lowering these risks and controlling breast cancer because it reduced inflammation in the body. Patients with breast cancer have more inflammatory cells than those who do not have the cancer. Aspirin has also been shown to prevent tumor cells from breast cancer from growing and invading other parts of the body. – From eFitnessNow
