Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith may be headed for divorce, but the couple certainly knew how to live like Hollywood royalty. The two recently put their Hancock Park estate home on the market for $16.1 million, and the classic Italian-style home oozes with history and luxury.

Let’s start with the basics. The three-story home sports 15,000 square feet of living space, 13 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. It was designed by architect Gordan B. Kaufmann, who is best known for designing the Hoover Dam. It rests on an acre-and-a-half lot, making for plenty of privacy as you walk amongst the gardens, pool and expansive lawns.

Inside you’ll find such goodies as a two-story banquet hall, four fireplaces, a library and even an elevator.

The couple bought the residence in 1999 for $4.2 million (along with the adjacent lot for $1.3 million).

Griffith filed for divorce last year from Banderas after 18 years of marriage. Griffith was previously married to actor Don Johnson (their daughter is “50 Shades of Grey” star Dakota Johnson).

Here’s an extensive look inside the couple’s sumptuous Los Angeles home.
