All of us deserve a night out on occasion when we consider the sacrifices made during the recent COVID pandemic. Now that things are slowly beginning to return to a “new normal”, New York City nightclubs are once again opening their doors to the general public. There are literally hundreds of venues to choose from and each of these offers its own unique atmosphere. This is also why choosing the most appropriate location can be slightly difficult. Let’s cut through the smoke and mirrors by taking a look at some of the most happening spots in the city as well as what each has to offer.
In terms of the most well-known clubs in New York City, this venue is at or near the top of the list. Not only does Avant Gardner offer more than 15,000 square feet of open space, but it caters to various types of music. Up to 800 patrons can enjoy all that Avant Gardner has to offer and let’s not forget to mention that their cocktail bar will serve up a plethora of tasty drinks. Be sure to make reservations in advance to enjoy your spot on the dance floor!
Are you a fan of retro music or have you fallen in love with the appeal of vinyl? If so, Public Records will represent a dream come true. This hi-fi hotspot is meant to cater to more sophisticated tastes and while there is indeed a dance floor, you can also choose to sit in a handful of acoustically engineered booths to listen to old-school tunes until the wee hours of the morning. An all-night salad bar, a vegan menu and a choice of organic cocktails round out what Public Records has to offer.
This rooftop lounge actually feels more like a penthouse than a club and yet, it offers all that you have come to expect from a high-end New York City nightclub. Overhead neon lighting, famous DJs spinning the turntables, a range of contemporary music, and marble seating areas all help to imbue this location with a personality of its own. Also, you can enjoy stunning views of the Empire State Building and the Hudson River during your stay. Be sure to hire a cheap NY party bus rental service to arrive to and from PHD Downtown in style.
Up & Down
As you might have guessed, this club is divided into two separate levels. The upper floor offers a nightclub ambience while the lower section boasts more intimate settings if you happen to be arriving with friends or that special someone. Up & Down is known for its state-of-the-art sound system and unlike many other clubs, it is open from Monday to Friday.
Please note that this is only a small selection of the best nightclubs in New York City. Always perform additional research and plan ahead so truly enjoy all that these stunning locations have in store.
