The Lanesborough, one of London’s loveliest historic hotels, has just announced that it will fully re-open on July 15th after an 18 month closure for renovations. The luxurious Knightsbridge hotel, with its panoramic views of Hyde Park, is famous not only for its superior service but for its legacy — it is built on the former home of Viscount Lanesborough and remains one of London’s most revered Regency landmarks.

Part of the Oetker Collection, The Lanesborough is a sister hotel to famed properties like Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc and Le Bristol Paris in France, Fregate Island Private resort in the Seychelles and Eden Roc in St. Barths.

Step back in time and live like the Viscount by booking The Royal Suite, reinstated as the hotel’s largest suite complete with seven bedrooms.

Céleste, the restaurant, will unveil an elegant new design, as well as a new chef, Florian Favario, protégé of Eric Frechon, Paris’ most esteemed three Michelin star chef and leading figure at Le Bristol Paris.

The hotel also boasts The Garden Room, a glamorous cigar lounge, The Library Bar, and seven private dining rooms for VIPs.

Rates start at  £715 per night. We can’t wait to visit!
