Part of one of Istanbul’s beloved luxury boutique hotels – Sumahan on the Water – the splendidly modern restaurant overlooks the Bosphorous, capturing natural sunlight through dark-framed doors and windows and gently dissipating it under the vaulted ceilings.
Welcoming guests with a relaxing color palette defined by white, earthy grey and light green, the restaurant showcases a carefully designed space punctured by steel columns and adorned with remaining stone walls from when the time Tapasuma was an alcohol factory, back in the Ottoman days. Besides the light-flooded dining zone, a higher lounge zone with custom designed divans, contemporary kilims and low tables sparks up private conversations.
