Finding yourself in Valencia, Spain, could become an experience you will never forget. If you include staying at the chic Caro Hotel, the inspirational sources will be uninterrupted. Composed of a fascinating series of spaces, this unique central hotel was designed by Barcelona-based Francesc Rifé Studio. Located within walking distance of Valencia Cathedral and the Basilica, and maintaining its title of “first historical monument-hotel in Valencia”, the luxurious establishment fuses modern details with historical legacy in a collection of 26 unique rooms. Furthermore, three different rooms for enjoying daily meals are joined in an exclusive gastronomic and design experience.

Geometric lines merge with textured surfaces to compose interiors worthy of the building’s past. Occupying the shell of the former Palace of the Marquis of Caro dating back to the nineteenth century, Caro Hotel is described by its architect as an ode to historic and modern times: ” Beyond its facade, its walls stand guard over an unparalleled inheritance of more than 2,000 years of history, of which the original mosaic belonging to the founding city of the Roman era, «Valentia Edetanorum» (2nd century B.C.), the thirteenth-century Arabic defensive wall, several Gothic arches and nineteenth-century constructions have been preserved, restored and integrated into its spaces.” Are you tempted?
