Thomas Keller’s pop-up French Laundry at Harrods

Napa is coming to London, but only briefly. Thomas Keller’s legendary restaurant French Laundry will be open for 10 days when it arrives in London’s luxury department store Harrods.

The British outpost — Keller’s first in the UK — will open October 1 and mirror the Californian menu, featuring some of his classic, signature dishes, plus a selection of new creations. To replicate the original experience, Keller said he will be flying in fixtures, fittings and signature dinnerware to London for the first service. A nine-course meal at the restaurant is expected to cost

Every day at the Napa Valley location, Keller creates two unique nine-course tasting menus — the chef’s tasting and the tasting of vegetables — where no single ingredient is ever repeated.
