It’s not enough to just travel like a a celebrity – staying in a luxury hotel is just the beginning. These hotels offer “secret” perks for guests that anyone can book, but only those who are truly in-the-know will request.

Four Seasons Resort & Residences Vail

Hike a Fourteener with a Llama: This experience is so wild that guests don’t even stay at the resort during it! This is an exclusive two-day adventure, led by local outdoor experts, Paragon Guides, where guests are accompanied by a team of llamas that carry gear and food on an epic journey to the summit of Mount of the Holy Cross. Along the way, travelers will experience gourmet meals prepared by the Four Seasons’ chefs and will spend the night in characteristic Four Seasons comfort and luxury at an 11,000 feet elevation base camp. The next day, guests will be guided to the peak of one of Colorado’s most famous “14ers”.

Waldorf Astoria Park City

The Apres-Ski Butler Home Service: Just like the wealthy would have back home, this offering gives guests a personalized touch for their post-skiing recovery. Following a long winter day in the mountains, the “Après Butler” prepares a personalized cocktail kit in-room to enjoy. Guests can pick their preferred libation ahead of time and will arrive back to their room with the fireplace lit, a custom après spread with cheese & charcuterie as well as a shaker, ingredients, and recipe to create their own crafted cocktail. In addition, the butler can have a sumptuous bath drawn upon arrival with warmed robes and slippers laid out. Another evening cocktail experience awaits in the restaurant, Powder.

Viceroy Snowmass

The Ultimate Biking Experience (Ride with a Pro + Farm-to-Table Dinner): The cycling program is in conjunction with former pro rider, Will Frischkorn (Tour de France competitor for Garmin). The experience is entirely customizable, but the best way to book it is via the three-day (long weekend) option. Arrival Friday midday, with a 25-mile ride down valley to Sustainable Settings Farm. There, Viceroy’s Executive Chef, Will Nolan, prepares a real farm-to-table dinner. Guests are transported back to the property via vehicle (as daylight is gone at this point). On Saturday, riders depart from Viceroy and hit Maroon Bells (one of the most scenic rides on earth), followed by Castle Creek/Ashcroft (an old ghost town). In Ashcroft, the property has a tent stocked with a full lunch (featuring charcuterie and cheeses hand selected from Frischkorn’s Boulder store, Cured). Guests ride back to the property for a massage, and ride again Sunday if desired.

Vidanta Resorts

It’s Very Own Cirque du Soleil Show + Theatre: Vidanta resorts are known for their exclusive beach properties at some of Mexico’s finest beaches. The properties boast AAA-five diamond accommodations, luxurious spas, wildlife sanctuaries, Jack Niklaus designed Golf Courses, Molecular Mixology lessons, culinary immersion lessons, etc. This goes on. But at the Riviera Maya property, guest can even attend the resort’s very own Cirque du Soleil show, JOYÀ. The show is a one-of-a-kind offering, combining a culinary experience that goes along with the production, with each element of the food integrated into the story line of the show. In addition, the show’s theme, music and plot were created specifically to reflect the local culture of surrounding the resort.
