The Macallan has announced the release of a limited edition of 1000 bottles celebrating the Royal Marriage of Prince William to Kate Middleton.
This special edition will feature the finest single malt whiskey taken from two casks. Each cask was filled on April 29 (the date of the wedding). One cask will feature whiskey from 1996 and one from 1999.
The Macallan says to expect abundant wood spices combining with orange zest, floral and barley to produce a creamy overtone.
Cost is around $220.
