This is very disappointing news. As part of the reorganization of AOL blogs after acquiring Huffington Post, editor in chief Arianna Huffington is folding numerous AOL blogs, including Luxist. The luxury site, which we greatly admired, will be folded into Stylelist.
According to the Business Insider, some of these sites, including Luxist, Holidash and That’s Fit, were left entirely without staff of their own after the layoff of more than 200 employees two weeks ago.
Regardless, we hope for the best to the Luxist writers. Great work.
