Tai Chi-Inspired Copper Lights: Rose Li Collection

The perfectly chosen lights are able to create the specific atmosphere you’re looking for in any space. Since there are so many great light designs out there, today we focus on a series that promises to add a warm copper glow to any space.

Known as the Rose Li Collection, these lights designed by Albi for Aqua Creations are made from copper. Their subtle glow comes from inside these copper tubes, where two LEDs are fitted to compose a contemporary look. These lamps are rechargeable, meaning there are no cables to ruin the design. The inspiration behind this project comes from the designer’s Tai Chi master:

“Way back when we lived in London we studied Tai Chi at a church near Charing Cross station. “Head up, shoulders down” was Master Rose Li’s repeated advice in each class and these wise words are still with me and I keep on trying, with my head up shoulders down. The first lamp I made that lead to the Rose Li collection came from the feeling of Tai Chi, with your head in the clouds and your feet rooted deep in the earth. Copper, a precious metal alongside silver and gold, is used in the Rose Li collection in its natural polished color as a contemporary interpretation for candles.”
