Beautiful, just beautiful. How else can you describe the Chanel J-12 Calibre 3125? Chanel’s J-12 watches are among the world’s most admired and instantly recognizable ceramic timepieces. Launched back in 2000, the J-12 collection was an instant success, becoming Chanel’s top selling watches. The men’s J-12 Calibre 3125 is a new addition this year, born from a collaboration between Chanel and Swiss watchmaker Audemars Piguet. Done in high-tech black ceramic and 18K gold–the debut of yellow gold within the collection–it houses an AP automatic movement with a day date function and 60-hour power-reserve, visible through its exhibition case back, and a rotor mounted on ceramic ball-bearings. As a handsome alternative, it is being offered on a black alligator strap, in addition to the distinctive ceramic bracelet used throughout the group.
