For adventurous design lovers, the Tumble Weed stool proposes a different kind of interaction. Created by designer Carmela Bogman, the modern stool is made out of eight aluminum strips that give it an interesting shape. Its name comes form the resemblance to those well-known dried up plants moved from here to there by the wind. The reasons behind the creation of this highly contemporary stool design lies in thecomplex life we create for ourselves:

Finding the right balance in everyday life is difficult. Work is piling up, at home the chores seem to multiply by the hour and leisure time is cluttered by numerous appointments. Designer, Carmela Bogman, started a search for the right balance and designed a physical reaction and an optimistic impulse called Tumble Seed.

Based on a flower seed searching for a place to grow while being moved around by the wind, the contemporary stool displays subtle coloring hinting towards the flower that can potentially grow from this simple “seed”. Scattered around the house, the interesting stools will restore the much needed balance and construct a dynamic atmosphere.
