Miranda Kerr, the former Victoria’s Secret model, recently revealed her diet. The wife of Orlando Blooms, and mother of Flynn, states that she doesn’t deprive herself of any foods, but does eat very healthily.

“I try to stick to an organic diet and stay hydrated with a lot of alkaline water,” Miranda told Vogue.co.uk. “I like to keep healthy and active. I did gymnastics growing up and I’ve practiced yoga for years – around 12 to 14 years already – and I like to work my body out and keep it in good condition.”

Regarding the ingredients in Miranda’s diet, she said: “I make like a really great salad with baby spinach, avocado, grilled haloumi cheese, cucumber, some slivered almonds with some macadamia nut oil and a side of vinegar. It’s really delicious and then I’ll grill some fish and have some sweet potato mash on the side, as well.”

However, Miranda does indulge in sweet snacks. “If you feel like [eating] some chocolate, have a little piece of chocolate, allow yourself to have a little indulgence without going overboard. Don’t do it every day.”

Miranda Kerr Diet“It’s also important, super important, to not deprive yourself. If you deprive yourself, naturally as a human being and the whole psychology of it, is that you want it even more. Just don’t eat the whole bar of chocolate!”

Miranda continued: “I love food and enjoy eating fresh organic produce. I drink warm water and lemon every morning and I also drink lots of good quality purified and preferably alkaline water throughout the day.”

Miranda is also a Nichiren Buddhist, who meditates and practices yoga regularly, focusing on low-impact, calming exercise.

“I practise yoga daily; I do half an hour in the morning plus half an hour of meditation,” she says. “Dedication is key for me because with my constant travel schedule I find it very grounding and energising.”
