The creation of the brilliant Cartier ID Two Concept Watch took more than five years of research and development, and a team of 135 different engineers. The watch addresses factors of storing maximum energy while minimizing consumption. The beautifully crafted watch uses AirFree technology with a vacuum-sealed case, allowing it to consume 37% less energy.

In addition, the timepiece uses polymer-coated fiberglass springs so it can store 30% more energy than a typical watch that uses metal springs. The Cartier wristwatch also includes anti-magnetic and anti-corrosive carbon crystal-coated silicon gears to reduce friction up to 80%.
