The creative director at Louis Vuitton is set to make his debut as an actor. Fashion designer Marc Jacobs will start shooting the film next week. However, the details of the film are top-secret.
“I got cast in a role in a movie,” Jacobs said at a recent WSJ event. “They’re filming next week and I’m excited. I get to play a character that’s not myself at all.”
Well, except for this past Halloween, where he was dressed as a “very perverse and decadent” cabaret performer — snapped by Terry Richardson at the Boom Boom Room, The Standard Hotel, New York.
Jacobs has flirted with Hollywood previously, but behind the scenes — he created the costumes on behalf of Louis Vuitton for the Wes Anderson film The Darjeeling Limited.
