Reality star Kim Kardashian received a one-of-a kind Christmas present from husband Kanye West. The artistic genius gave his wife a stunning Hermès Birkin bag painted by New York City-based artist George Condo. The $40,000 Hermès bag features a custom, surrealist nude portrait with monster-like creatures hand-painted by the artist.
After Christmas, Kim shared the news of her gift and posted a photo of the custom bag with the message: “#HandPaintedGeorgeCondo #HermesBirkin #OneofOne #ChristmasPresentFromYeezy” on Instagram.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star also flaunted her gift while shopping with Kanye in Woodland Hills, Calif., this week.
Condo previously created a series of paintings for Kanye’s “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” album that introduced him to today’s mainstream pop culture.
In addition to the custom bag, Kim also took to social media to share the replica Lamborghini that Kanye bought baby North for Christmas. The mini black sports car is an exact replica of Kanye’s $750,000 car and has the same matt paint finish. Kim added the caption: “Like father like daughter.”
