Karl Lagerfeld has unveiled his Spring 2016 “Karl Robot” capsule collection.
The ready-to-wear clothes and accessories feature an array of playful, futuristic motifs, ranging from galaxies and spaceships to the designer and his famous cat, Choupette, caricatured as a robots.
Pieces include a Vachetta leather pochette bag with a robotised Karl integrated into the pin lock, neoprene sweatshirts featuring a high density print of robot Choupette and a robotized Karl in outer space. Three t-shirt designs bear similar motifs of Karl and Choupette together with spaceships and planets. A beanie, a necklace, key chains, socks, luggage tags and iPhone cases are among the additional pieces on offer.
Kendall Jenner also shared a photo of herself with a Karl Robot handbag via Instagram, stating “In love with my #karllagerfeld bag!”
The capsule is now available worldwide at Karl Lagerfeld stores, selected retailers and online at Karl.com.
