Jared Leto Pays $5 Million For A Former Defense Site In Los Angeles

The Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor performance as a transgender woman in Dallas Buyers Club was apparently not enough for Jared Leto. The American actor, who is also a singer, songwriter and director has just awarded himself an extraordinary property worth $5 million in Los Angeles, California.jared-leto-Hollywood_Hills_West_interior_2 jared-leto-Hollywood_Hills_West_interiorLocated in Hollywood Hills West, the 1.5-acre gated property was once part of the Lookout Mountain Air Force Station. The former defence site which today is a private residence in the Laurel Canyon neighborhood was originally built in the early 1940s.

Also records state that the one-time defense site was last traded in 1994, when it was sold for $750,000 to artist Mark Lipscomb and attorney and former judge John Ladner.
