Fine jewelry company Huckleberry, Ltd., based in Los Angeles and known for it’s edgy haute jewelry featuring skulls, horseshoes, and wolves has teamed up with master engraving house Fin De Temps to create unique one-of-a-kind timepieces.

The plan is for the brand to release a different watch with their Huckleberry plant motif engraved on it. The first watch, numbered 1, is a stainless steel Rolex Milgauss adorned with 3.40 carats of black diamonds in a channel set bezel. The entire process for each piece takes 4-8 weeks which includes design conception, specific watch acquisition, hand engraving, precious stone adornments and custom package creation.

The Huckleberry plant motif engraving took 140 hours of work. Each watch is accompanied by a handmade reclaimed wooden box, lined with orange suede and corresponding matching watch number burned into the box’s underside. No two watches or boxes will ever be exactly replicated making each timepiece truly one of a kind.

7A8BF66E-626E-48E1-B925-045A2C07569DWe asked the team behind Huckleberry how this unique partnership came to be. The brand designers are  extremely passionate about luxury timepieces and were searching for the right partner: “Fin Des Temps was introduced to us via a mutual friend and jewelry designer (Katie Finn at Elizabeth Street Jewelry) and we were blown away by their level of craftsmanship and expertise.”

About the design they stated that for the HUCK X FIN Timepieces, the huckleberry plant motif gives the watches an organic feel. The designs have a deliberate lack of symmetry which lends itself to each watch being different from the next. Fin Des Temps has the creative freedom of essentially free handing the designs onto each watch making every one a unique work of art.

Watch number 1 will be available for purchase on November 11th, 2015 (11/11 at 11am PST) and retails for $36,000. December’s watch will be a Rolex Submariner and January is a black dialed Rolex GMT with green accents. For more information visit: http://www.huckleberryltd.com/.
