Italian sports car manufacturer Ferrari has released photos and specs on the 458 Speciale, which will be unveiled at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September. The Ferrari 458 Speciale will pack a lot of power. It has a 4.5-liter V-8 that will produce 597 ponies. Ferrari reports that the 458 Speciale will go from 0-62 mph in just 3.0 seconds, and 0-124 mph in a stunning 9.1 seconds.
The Ferrari 458 Special sports similar styling to the LaFerrari. Ferrari says there are also new aerodynamic features on the 458 Speciale, to ensure balanced downforce and to reduce drag. The 458 Speciale also introduces a new electronic feature, Side Slip Angle Control (SSC). SSC can monitor the car’s slip angle like never before, optimizing the flow of torque across the rear axle via the electronic differential.
Pricing for the Ferrari 458 Speciale hasn’t been released yet.
