The Silver Bullet travel trailers, made by Airstream, have been gracing country roads for decades; they have retro-American styling and feature minimalist design. Premium outdoors wear makers Eddie Bauer and Airstream have teamed up to create the latest rendition of the Silver Bullet called the Eddie Bauer Airstream travel trailer. The trailer was unveiled at the 48th edition of the National RV Show in Louisville, KY.
The Eddie Bauer Airstream trailer features the classic styling Airstream is known for and includes a luxurious interior with quilted fabrics, maple and sandstone laminates, and stain-resistant Sunbrella upholstery. The trailer measures 25’ long and is able to sleep four adults, two in the queen-size bed and two in the seating quarters where the small kitchen is located.
The Airstream travel trailer features a unique sport hatch in the back that has a large opening for loading and unloading larger items, such as bicycles, kayaks, and other large gear that one may bring on a camping trip. The trailer rides on Michelin tires that are suitable for rugged terrain. The Eddie Bauer Airstream travel trailer is priced at $73,700 and will go on sale in February 2011.
