Duality concept captured in furniture design: Closet Dual

Pursuitist Luxury Best Luxury Blog

Designed by Mexico and London-based small multi-disciplinary design firm Hierve-Diseñería, the contemporary version of a clothes storage closet has become alive with the use of some creative additions and vivid colors. The combination between the natural wood and the yellow-colored part adds youthfulness to the overall design. Named Closet Dual, the modern closet remains true to its name by enhancing the duality of its elements in a playful way.

Once you open the closet, an interesting surprise awaits: the interiors of each volume are painted in contrasting colors: the yellow volume is finished in natural wood, while the wood element is painted with yellow on the inside.  Slightly 3-dimensional birds, branches and flower details adorn the closet doors and the legs and hangers were created to give the impression of a continuation of the design. Do you think that the colors and shapes were strong enough to offer the impression of a bold design?
