If you pursue a colorful lifestyle, this apartment will probably become one of your great inspiration sources. Knows as the RL House, the cheery yet elegant collection of living spaces spreads over 145 square meters in an apartment building located in Curitiba, the capital of the Brazilian state of Paraná. Giving the architect free hand when it came to the redesign of their apartment, the young couple owning the place was astounded when seeing how polymer cement and pine wood was beautifully used alongside minty and blue colors to create a unique urban elegance.
You might remember São Paulo-based studio Studio Guilherme Torres‘ work from another project presented on Pursuitist – the FF House. The same passion seen in constructing that family home can be recognized here – the main furniture pieces were also designed by the renowned architect, completing the overall look. The structural column at the entrance was exposed to give the open space a powerful element, while the Shadowy chaise from Moroso – an outdoor furniture piece – was used to decorate a part of the living room. Above it thrones an art piece by João Machado, while above the sideboard, a colorful Eliane Prolik piece steals the show. The lack of doors make the space fluid, adding to the open feeling of a truly unique urban home.
