Designed by architectural Zerafa Studio with offices in New York, this two story contemporary residence presented as today’s dream home is located in Niagara Falls City, Canada. Completed three years ago, this 5,000 square foot elegant home named the Riverhouse Niagara Residence rests on a 1,85 acre site overlooking Niagara River. Three horizontal volumes combining glass, cedar and granite cladding merge and divide, shaping voids and covered exterior terraces.
Each space of the house was designed to capture views of the garden and nearby water. Extensive use of glass helped connect the interiors to the exteriors both visual and spatially – each room displays elegant design lines captured in the play of volumes. A sculptural wood and glass staircase adorns the middle of the double-height living space, flooded with natural light. Your turn to dream how your life would be if you lived here.
