Original architecture, a generous infinity pool and a modern interior design capturing the landscape are just some of the features of today’s dream home. Located on the Arabian Sea coast, at the edge of a dramatic coastal landscape, in a fishing village in Kerala, India, this contemporary residence was designed by Khosla Associates and is entitled “Cliff House”.
An asymmetrical sloping roof defines the entire architecture of the Cliff House in India, providing unexpected viewer’s perspectives. Integrated within a lovely coconut plantation, the residence has an exotic appearance and feel.
According to the architects, the ground level accommodates a large foyer, which connects the infinity pool with the front entrance, separating the private spaces from the living and dining spaces. Here is more on the structure of the residence from the project development team: “The double height foyer separates the two wings and separates public and private spaces. Guest bedrooms and shaded decks lie to either side of the outdoor pool whose prominent position and expanse compensate for the missing beach access. Additional guest rooms and master bedroom connect to each other on the upper level via a walkway and terrace.”
