Daily Dream Home: Casa del Agua

An imposing residence makes for a luxurious modern lifestyle. With the examples we’re seeing in architecture portfolios like the one belonging to Almazán Arquitectos, these mastodons can be designed to display a sophisticated elegance through simplicity of lines and colors. Creativity abounds in the use of water elements also giving the house its name: Casa del Agua.

The pure white volumetric architecture was sliced to open to the surrounding space to the outside via large glazed areas. Spacious interiors are displayed only after a walk across the wooden bridge that seems to be hovering above the water. Open plan living spaces where scattered furniture pieces decorate the white interiors open to the outdoors via large frameless glazing. Pebble stones outdoors find a design counterpart inside, creating a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor.
