Contemporary urban street furniture adaptable to a garden

Imagine this outdoor office in your garden, if not on the streets. I imagine this stunning modern piece of furniture in a rustic landscape, proving that we can enjoy nature while working. If you find yourself online a lot of time, what better way to stay connected to nature, breathe fresh air and feel the breeze is there? This Outdoor office by Jerusalem-based designer Adi Kalina was imagined as an urban call to arms, encouraging people to reclaim the streets as part of their office hours.
This contemporary urban street furniture piece was transformed into reality as a part of the artist’s graduation thesis at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design. Based on the  fact that many freelancers are drawn to big cities, the concept embeds an ergonomic chair, sun protection and small working table, perfect for a laptop and a cup of coffee to fit on. With a 360 degrees swivel, the chair made of 35 bent wood ribbons and two curved steel profiles turns away from the sun while offering panoramic views of the surroundings.
