Book lovers and fans of New York Times best-selling author Lee Woodruff will have an exclusive opportunity to meet and discuss literary topics with her in an intimate two-day book retreat at The Somerset on Grace Bay, a five-star resort on Turks and Caicos.

Lee, a contributing reporter to CBS’ “This Morning,” gained acclaim as co-author of the best-selling book “In an Instant, A Family’s Journey of Love and Healing” (Random House, 2008), a compelling and humorous chronicle of her family’s journey to recovery following her husband Bob’s roadside bomb injury in Iraq. Appearing together on national television and radio since the February 2007 publication of their book, the couple has helped put a face on the serious issue of traumatic brain injury. The Bob Woodruff Foundation, which the couple founded, has raised more than $20 million to-date to assist wounded service members and their families.

“Those We Love Most” (Voice, 2012), is Lee’s first novel (which is a New York Times best-seller) and follows another best-selling book she penned, “Perfectly Imperfect – A Life in Progress” (Random House, 2010).

During the retreat, which will take place from May 12-13, book lovers will enjoy the intimate, serene setting to read and engage in discussions with the famous author. Woodruff will discuss her latest book (“Those We Love Most”), which recently won the Washington Irving Book Award for fiction. She will also lead participants through personal discussions about various literary topics. Participants will attend a meet and greet cocktail reception and dinner with Woodruff, in addition to two discussion sessions with the author and a Beach BBQ on the final evening. Daily Continental breakfast is also included.

When not in discussions, participants can get lost in a good book on a lounge chair on the white sand beach, by the picturesque infinity pool or on the private villa terraces.
