Lamborghini looks like they are eying the hybrid market.

Following Ferrari’s green initiatives, Italian rivals Lamborghini will embark on their eco-friendly drive with a planned hybrid model of the Gallardo in 2015 (the same year Maranello will roll out their eco-green drive), its CEO Stephan Winkelmann told German Automobilewoche magazine in an interview. But before you get all too excited about an all-electric Lambo, Winkelmann says Sant’Agata outfit has no plans to emulate parent company Audi or go the way of Mercedes Benz’s upcoming fully electric SLS AMG roadster. — From Luxury Insider
