Totally into horse racing now, thanks to American Pharoah? Wow your friends with you knowledge of the international race circuit, namely the wildy popular Il Palio di Siena horserace in Italy coming up this August 16th. This grand event has drawn the likes of Tom Hanks and Princess Margaret in past years, and now, the ultra-exclusive Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco (owned by none other than Massimo Ferragamo) is offering a special package that makes even some of the most high-end Derby experiences pale in comparison.

The four-day, three-night package includes an overnight stay at the Rosewood hotel, including complimentary daily breakfast, exclusive access to a private, historic palace in Siena overlooking the Piazza del Campo square on August 15th and 16th  to view the Palio Horse race and all events leading up to it, while enjoying gourmet Italian cuisine and cocktails, viewing of the final workouts and trials, the pre-race Corteo Storico, a historical costume parade, and of course, a prime view of the Palio race itself — where jockey’s ride bareback dressed in colored silks representative of their personal contrada, as well as a private tour of Siena following the race, and car transfers during the two days.

Sounds seriously amazing, right?
