One of New York’s illustrious Italian spots is taking your watered down margarita and two-for-one Happy Hour deal and raising you a genuine craft cocktail and a celebration of the true cultural pre-dinner tradition.
Il Buco Alimentari & Vineria introduced its “Aperitovo Happy Hour” this month, inviting guests to experience the best of before-dinner like you might have back in 1786, when vermouth creator Antonio Benedetto Carpano is credited with inventing the aperitivo ritual.
Monday through Friday, 4 – 6 PM, there is crostini, fritti and antipasti to attend to… as well as highlights from the choicest of what the market has to take home, and a menu of classic aperitivo and special house drinks to keep you indulging al’Italiano.
